A new agency sb has created a Program for Corporate Integrity that is under the Ministry of Transparency, Control, and Supervision. This agency is one of the first to develop a code of conduct that will be in accord with the Anti-corruption Law. It is also the only agency to consult with the CGU about corporate rules.

Sb is the only wholly 100% Brazilian agency that has been invited to participate in competitions for international organizations regarding advertising and publicity. Though they attained international recognition, this was not enough. They started creating the Corporate Integrity Program two years ago. The program is now complete. It demands strict compliance and is in agreement with the Anti-corruption Law.

Bob Vieira de Costa, a founding member of the new /sb Agency, said, “Our attitude is a natural consequence of our preoccupation with the transparency and delimitation of the directives that constitute the ethics of the agency. It is no use to look like we are proper, we must always be proper and act coherently and ethically. It is an intense process that requires internal changes that are in accordance with ethics.”

The code of conduct was created by Manesco, Ramires, Perez, the Azevedo Marques Society of Lawyers and by the lawyer Silvia Urquiza, who are specialists on the subject. They also evaluated the new sb leaders, the Corporate Integrity manager and the members of the Internal Ethics Committee. The code of conduct has been released to the employees who have not only read it but have undergone training. The code of conduct is on the agencies intranet and the agency website.

Upon enactment of the Corporate Integrity Program and the training of the teams of São Paulo, Brasília and Rio de Janeiro is in charge of the Corporate Integrity Management. Bruno Jorge Fagali will be responsible and, for this, has attained stability in the position within 24 months.

Fagali holds a Masters Degree in State law from USP and is a specialist in administrative law by FGV and PUC. His career is focused on administrative law in public administration. He is concerned with preventing acts of impropriety. Bruno had to work with quite a number of law firms such as Tojal, Radi, and Ramires just to mention a few. He is the corporate integrity manager of Nova/SB.
